David Jolly Pittsburgh reviews
Very disappointing performance
"My wife and I listen to his music constantly and love it. He isn't the most outgoing musician, as we know from interviews, and rarely interacts with the audience. However, this performance was a major let down. Everything else were songs with the same pattern, he played 2 hits. Very talented musicians all taking the same turn to have a mini-solo as a true jazz band. I don't question how good they are, but David Jolly could have played more of his hits. And don't tell me he doesn't pander to the audience. That's the major reason most of us came. He didn't mind singing Georgia on My Mind which is clearly there only for the Atlanta audience. I'll never go to a live concert again. I'd rather listen to the tapes."
